A website for a sawmill selling in four languages
A family sawmill in Sulecin sells timber and glulam across Poland and Europe. The site had to serve Polish, German, English and Ukrainian buyers, and in every one of those languages lead them to a quote request.

- Four language versions: Polish, German, English and Ukrainian
- Quote request and WhatsApp contact on every screen
- SEO and AI-ready data (GEO) included
About the project
A sawmill running since 1992 in Sulecin, with its own six and a half hectare yard. It sells hardwood and softwood timber, round wood and glulam, delivered across Poland and Europe. Buyers are joineries, wholesalers and contractors, often from abroad.
The challenge
A sawmill's customers are not one group and do not speak one language. An enquiry can come from Germany, from Ukraine or from the next county, and each one is about the same thing: which species is in stock, in what dimensions, and when it arrives. The site had to handle that without turning into four separate sites to maintain.
Goals
- Serve four languages without splitting into four projects
- Put the species and range up front so a buyer sees what is available
- Shorten the path to a quote request
- Build for SEO and for AI search from day one
Technical challenges
Four languages, one structure
Polish, German, English and Ukrainian run on a shared page structure with a switcher in the header. Adding content in one language does not mean rebuilding the others.
Range instead of a company description
The species are listed plainly, oak, ash, beech, alder, pine, larch and spruce, alongside timber, round wood and glulam. A buyer is checking availability, not company history.
WhatsApp as the channel for foreign enquiries
For orders from abroad a message travels faster than a call. WhatsApp contact and the quote form are reachable from every screen.
Solution and implementation
A site that says what the sawmill has
A hero with the concrete facts, a bar with species and language coverage, then the offer, finished work, services and contact.
SEO and AI-ready data included
Correct meta tags, a sitemap, robots.txt and structured data. The site reads cleanly for AI search engines, not only for Google.
Results
Foreign buyers do not bounce off the language
An enquiry from Germany or Ukraine lands on content in that language instead of a Polish page to run through a browser translator.
A shorter path to a quote
The price enquiry and WhatsApp contact are one click away from anywhere on the site.
Takeaways
Export starts with language
A company shipping abroad loses enquiries because its site exists only in Polish. That is the cheapest thing on the list to fix.
