A website for an accounting office in Gorzów

The office does the books for over a hundred and thirty small businesses and does not want to sell through a sales call. So we built a site where pricing is public and the client works out their own monthly fee before they even pick up the phone.

Industry: Accounting office, Gorzow Wielkopolski

In short

  • Live: biurozlobinski.pl
  • Public pricing next to every service, no quote after a sales call
  • A calculator that works out the fee from your document count
  • Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 wired up, site in Search Console

About the project

An accounting office running since 2008, working with hairdressers, mechanics, restaurants, retail and services around Gorzow. The client is a sole trader or small business owner who wants to know two things: what it costs and whether somebody will pick up the phone.

The challenge

In this trade the norm is pricing on request. The office wanted the opposite: publish the prices and filter out the calls that would end on price anyway. So the site had to be built around the pricing and the calculator, not around an About page.

Goals

  • Put pricing on the site, openly, next to every service
  • Let the client work out their own fee without contacting the office
  • Break services out so each has its own entry point from Google
  • Wire up analytics and see which services generate enquiries

Technical challenges

A calculator that does not lie

The client picks a monthly document count and a tax regime, and the site shows an indicative amount. The result is labelled as indicative and confirmed by phone, so nobody feels misled.

Services split into separate pages

Revenue and expense ledger, lump-sum tax, VAT and JPK, payroll and social security, annual returns, company registration. Each has its own page with a starting price, because people search for a specific service, not for an accounting office in general.

Contact where the client already is

Phone and WhatsApp are reachable from every screen. A small business calls or messages; it rarely fills in a form.

Solution and implementation

Pricing as the main argument

Starting prices next to every service and a fee calculator on the home page. The conversation starts with a real question instead of a negotiation.

Measurement without guesswork

Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 wired up at launch, the site submitted to Search Console. It shows which services pull traffic.

Results

Fewer conversations about price

The client knows the range before calling, so the call is about scope of work rather than about whether the office is expensive.

Every service works on its own

Instead of one page fighting for the phrase accounting office, several pages target specific services.

Takeaways

Open pricing sells too

In services for small businesses, hiding the price rarely protects the margin. It mostly generates calls from people who will drop out anyway.

Frequently asked questions

Why is the pricing public?

Because the client will ask about price in the first minute anyway. Better they know upfront and call already decided.

How does the fee calculator work?

You give a monthly document count and a tax regime and get an indicative net amount. The final price is confirmed by phone.

Does the site have analytics?

Yes. Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 are wired up and the site is in Search Console.

Why does each service get its own page?

Because people search Google for a specific service, such as lump-sum tax filing, not for an accounting office in general.

How long did it take?

A week. The server and the measurement were on my side; the office supplied the content and the pricing.
