A meeting recording turned into a finished document, offline
You drop in a recording of a meeting, appointment or lecture and get a finished PDF: minutes, a note, a summary. It all runs on your own machine, nothing leaves it.
Industry: Offices, clinics, service firms
In short
- Audio turned into a document in minutes, not an hour of typing
- Ready templates: meeting minutes, note, summary
- Transcription and PDF typesetting run on your own Mac
- The recording and text never reach any cloud
About the project
People who run a lot of meetings or appointments lose hours writing up what was agreed. Notes from memory are incomplete, and typing from a recording is tedious.
The challenge
The raw recording had to become a proper document without sending anything to external services. For a clinic or a law office, conversation data cannot leak.
Goals
- Cut write-up time from an hour to a few minutes
- Keep everything on one machine, no cloud
- Provide ready templates per document type
- Preserve the meaning without inventing
Technical challenges
Everything on one machine
Transcription and the language model run locally on Apple Silicon. The recording never leaves the device.
Structure, not a wall of text
The model fills a specific template: attendees, decisions, tasks with deadlines. The result is a document, not a raw transcript.
Solution and implementation
Drop the recording, pick a template
You record in the browser or upload a file, pick the document type and click. Progress shows live.
A finished PDF as output
At the end you get a laid-out PDF with sections and a task table, ready to send.
Results
Hours recovered
Instead of writing up a meeting by hand, you get a finished document in minutes.
Data stays with you
Fully offline, so sensitive conversations never reach external servers.
Takeaways
Privacy can be a requirement, not an extra
For a clinic or a law office, local processing is a condition for using the tool at all.

Frequently asked questions
Does the recording go to the internet?
No. Transcription and the language model run on your machine, the file is not sent anywhere.
What documents can I generate?
To start, meeting minutes, a note and a summary. Templates can be tailored to a specific document type.
How long does it take?
A few minutes per recording, instead of an hour of manual typing.
Does the AI make things up?
The model fills the document with what was actually said. It organizes the conversation, it does not add facts.
What do I need for it to work?
An Apple Silicon machine with enough memory. Models are downloaded once, then it works without internet.
