GrantNawigator: a grants overview for companies straight to WhatsApp
A robot reads the multi-page government calls, and the business owner gets a short, current digest on Sunday instead of weeks of manual searching.
Industry: Sole traders and SMEs, grants advisory
In short
- 7 grant sources in one place (PARP, FENG, FERS, KPO, RPO, Norway, EDIH)
- A weekly digest on WhatsApp instead of weeks of searching
- Every call with a link to the original document and a source quote
- Zero made-up deadlines or amounts (a hard anti-hallucination rule)
About the project
Polish sole traders and SMEs lose weeks manually reviewing grant calls. Government pages are unreadable, deadlines shift, and criteria hide in multi-page PDFs. Many owners give up or pay an advisor for a one-off review.
The challenge
A current, reliable grants overview required regularly reading many government sources. One thing was critical: with grants you cannot get a deadline or amount wrong, so the system could not make anything up.
Goals
- Gather calls from many sources in one place
- Deliver a current overview without hours of manual searching
- Guarantee that no deadline or amount is made up
- Deliver it where the owner already looks: on the phone
Technical challenges
A hard anti-hallucination rule
Every field in the call data must have a source quote. Without a quote the field stays empty. The LLM only acts as a language layer (extraction and paraphrase), it does not invent facts.
Different, changing sources
Every source has a different layout and format. A Playwright crawler handles varied pages, and the parser maps data to one schema.
Frictionless delivery
Instead of another portal to log into, the ready digest lands on a WhatsApp Channel where the owner already looks.
Solution and implementation
Crawler and parser with an auditable source
The system pulls calls from 7 sources, and every criterion has a quote from the original document. A full audit trail, no guessing.
A Sunday digest on WhatsApp
Once a week a ready overview lands on a WhatsApp Channel, with a link to the original for each call.
Results
A grants overview in minutes a week
Instead of digging through government pages, the owner reads a short, current digest.
Trust in the data
Every call has a source link and quote, so the data can be verified.
Takeaways
With money, zero hallucination
Requiring a quote for every field is a simple, hard rule that removes made-up deadlines and amounts.
